The great EEL GAME

Luna's Long Journey – the eel board game

Can you be the first to make it back to the Sargasso Sea?

Join Luna, a European eel, on one of the most extraordinary journeys in the natural world. Inspired by SERP's picture book Come Home, Little Eel, this beautifully illustrated board game follows Luna from her birth in the Sargasso Sea, across the Atlantic and up into the rivers, rhynes and wetlands of the Somerset Levels, then all the way home again to breed.

Played like snakes and ladders, the game is packed with real-life hazards and helpers. Ride up a friendly eel, dodge herons and sharks, escape the trawler's net, stop for supper with a beaver, and watch out for turbines, weirs and pollution that send you sliding back. First to reach square 100 is the Eel Champion!

The back of the board features 50 fun facts about eels, plus simple ways your family can help this critically endangered fish.

Printed in full colour on A3, double-sided, for 2–4 players. All you need is a die and a counter each. Perfect for families, schools and eel enthusiasts of every age.

Every game sold supports the Somerset Eel Recovery Project's work to bring eels back to Somerset.
